On the busy street she sits,
Hugging her knees close,
Hoping he'll come along.
Maybe he can save her.
Her patience is wearing thin.
She wants to cry out loud,
Streams of tears running down.
Her dirty face lined with wet.
Her head in her knees,
She wants to scream.
She will never see him,
She will always be alone.
A hand touches her back,
She's scared to look up.
Swallowing her fears, she looks,
And instantly falls deep in his eyes.
He helps her odd the curb,
Looks into the face he's been searching.
He whipes away the last of her tears,
Hoping no more will come.
His arms around her waist,
He picks her up, spins her around.
She feels like she's flying,
She's never been so happy.
He's fallen for her,
And her for him.
Together they can last forever,
And she will be alone no more.

Love is giving someone the power to destroy you.
But trusting them not to.
Courage imperiles life, just as fear protects it.
